I was appalled that the ice machine was down. The carpets? Outdated, obviously. And to top it off, after this lovely experience, you would think they'd offer a complimentary gesture, but no-just was like a regular nobody. So disappointing, honestly. I was almost ready to give a good review, but just couldn't do it.

Such a nice stay for the price. Pet-friendly hotel in a busy area just off restaurant, liquor store and ocean, store, and Vaudville theatre. The rooms with a kitchenette. Excellent food in the beach restaurant.

Funny/nice trainrestaurant nearby. De staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Next to a small shop. Perfect location when on the way from SF to LA or vise versa

It was clean and convenient.

The Wi-Fi was horrible. Outside of the main office it was almost nonexistent. Everything was definitely budget oriented, from the old fashioned CRT TV, to the old fashioned phones and cheap towels. Although the hotel was clean, it certainly was not a three star level hotel.

Smoking areas right outside of non-smoking room were very noisy late at night. Re-locating the trash cans and ash trays to a different area would help.

The homemade pizza from the diner down the road? A total game-over moment! The beach access was a sweet bonus, allowing easy strolls along the shore. Plus, the cozy vibe of the nearby Mexican bar and grill made for good evenings!

I am a private pilot and flew into Oceano Airport . Was within walking distance to hotel .

Hotel staff not fluent in english . Could not make recommendations on local attractions .
